About this program
Connecticut's apprenticeship system supports employers that sponsor registered apprenticeship programs by helping structure on-the-job training, classroom instruction, workforce partnerships, and access to workforce funding opportunities.
Eligibility
Connecticut employers, including Groton businesses, that sponsor or develop registered apprenticeship programs meeting state and federal apprenticeship standards.
Requirements
- Work with Connecticut Department of Labor apprenticeship staff
- Create an approved apprenticeship training plan, related instruction plan, wage progression, and apprentice standards
- Comply with registration, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements
