Arlington uses tax abatement tools and economic development agreements to encourage growth and investment. Tax abatements may support qualifying development, redevelopment, job creation, and capital investment projects under city policy and approval processes.
Eligibility
Companies, developers, or property owners with qualifying Arlington projects meeting city investment, location, public benefit, and policy requirements.
Requirements
- Coordinate with Arlington Economic Development Corporation before project commitment
- Submit incentive application with project investment, jobs, wages, location, and public benefit information
- Secure required city approvals and meet agreement performance and reporting terms
