Employment and support services for New Jersey displaced homemakers, many of whom are women reentering the workforce.

About this program

The Displaced Homemaker Program supports New Jersey residents who have lost their primary source of income after separation, divorce, disability, death of a spouse, or other household disruption. Services can include job counseling, training referrals, resume help, life-skills support, and related assistance. Deadline notes: Local program intake is typically rolling, subject to provider capacity. Notes: Included as a women-focused workforce pathway rather than a direct funding award.

Eligibility

New Jersey displaced homemakers who have lost financial support and need employment or self-sufficiency services.
