About this program
Houston's Chapter 380 program provides financial assistance in the form of loans and performance-based grants to qualified businesses for eligible projects located within city limits, including projects that create jobs, expand business activity, or support redevelopment goals.
Eligibility
Qualified businesses and project sponsors with eligible economic development projects inside Houston city limits and the ability to meet city council approval, investment, job, and public benefit requirements.
Requirements
- Contact the Mayor's Office of Economic Development before project commitment
- Submit business plan, financial information, project scope, and economic impact details
- Execute a city-approved performance agreement if awarded
