State grants to reimburse manufacturers and other Kansas basic industries for the cost of training newly created positions; priority given to manufacturing firms; training must be customized to job entry requirements including instruction on production equipment.

Eligibility
Kansas businesses involved in net new job creation, including manufacturers (NAICS 31-33), multi-state wholesale distribution, agriculture, mining, R&D, interstate transportation, and tourism; manufacturers receive priority.
Requirements

- Training must be for newly created positions
- Submit a training application through the Kansas Department of Commerce
