About this program
The City of Dearborn receives Community Development Block Grant entitlement funds from HUD and administers them locally for activities that benefit low- and moderate-income residents, address slum or blight, or meet urgent community needs. Eligible uses can include public services, housing rehabilitation, public facilities and improvements, neighborhood revitalization, and certain economic development activities consistent with the City's action plans.
Eligibility
Eligible nonprofit organizations, public agencies, community partners, and qualified project sponsors serving Dearborn residents or neighborhoods may apply when the City opens its CDBG funding process.
Requirements
- Project must serve Dearborn residents or neighborhoods.
- Activity must meet a HUD CDBG national objective.
- Applicant must be an eligible organization or implementing partner under CDBG rules.
