About this program
Fort Worth uses Chapter 380 economic development agreements to provide performance-based grants based on a percentage of new incremental taxes created by approved projects. Agreements are negotiated case by case and require Fort Worth City Council approval.
Eligibility
Companies and developers with qualifying Fort Worth projects that create jobs, make capital investment, advance targeted industries, or meet city economic development policy goals.
Requirements
- Engage Fort Worth Economic Development before project commitment
- Provide project scope, investment, jobs, wages, site, fiscal impact, and small business utilization plan when required
- Secure City Council approval and comply with performance, reporting, and clawback terms
