About this program
Georgia Outdoor Stewardship Program is a competitive grant and loan program supporting stewardship of state parks and lands, local parks and trails, and protection of critical conservation lands across Georgia.
Eligibility
Qualified local governments, constituted recreation authorities, state agencies, and nongovernmental entities with a core conservation mission.
Requirements
- Complete online pre-application during the funding cycle
- If invited, submit second-level application with project budget, match, site control, and conservation outcomes
- Comply with DNR grant agreement, eligible cost, and reporting requirements
