About this program
The Louisiana SSBCI Small Business Loan Guaranty Program helps small businesses access financing by providing participating lenders with a state guarantee on eligible loans. The guarantee reduces lender risk and can support business development and expansion needs. For smaller loans, businesses must create or retain at least one permanent job, while larger loans have higher job creation or retention requirements.
Eligibility
Eligible Louisiana small businesses working with participating banks, credit unions, or CDFIs may apply for guaranteed loans for business development or expansion.
Requirements
- Business must be located in Louisiana.
- Applicant must be an eligible small business under SSBCI and Louisiana program rules.
- Loan must be made by an insured bank, insured credit union, or insured CDFI participating in the program.
