About this program
Covington's Historic Electric Signage Incentive supports restoration or creation of historic electric signage, including neon and other illuminated signs, to enhance downtown's nighttime character and business visibility.
Eligibility
Eligible Covington businesses and commercial property owners with approved historic electric signage projects.
Requirements
- Meet with Historic Preservation Office if required
- Submit signage application, design, cost estimates, private match, and permit documentation
- Receive city approval before starting reimbursable work
