Eligibility
Minnesota businesses and property owners installing new battery storage systems, particularly those paired with solar interconnection agreements. Non-Xcel Energy customers may access Commerce Department incentives; Xcel Energy customers access utility incentives.
Requirements
- Must install a new on-site battery energy storage system in Minnesota
- System should be paired with a new or existing solar installation
- Must meet Minnesota Department of Commerce eligibility criteria
