Maryland Cannabis Business Assistance Fund (CBAF) – Social Equity License Application Assistance Reimbursement Grant

Reimbursement grant for social equity cannabis applicants covering up to 50% of eligible application preparation costs, capped at $5,000; reimburses costs for accountants, attorneys, business plan writers, operational plan consultants, diversity plan advisors, and language translation; distinct from the Conditional Licensee Grant (which is for post-lottery winners); OSE encourages applicants to first use free OSE/MCA resources before applying for reimbursement.

Eligibility

Verified social equity cannabis applicants who have completed a Maryland cannabis license application; social equity status verified by OSE; disproportionately impacted area residency, public school attendance in DIA, or Pell Grant receipt are qualifying criteria.
