Nebraska Rural Health Workforce Incentive Program
Financial incentives for health care professionals relocating to or continuing to serve in rural Nebraska counties (all counties except Douglas, Lancaster, and Sarpy). Approximately $20 million available in the first year.

Eligibility
Full-time and part-time healthcare providers living in Nebraska and providing care in rural communities (all Nebraska counties except Douglas, Lancaster, and Sarpy). Providers must agree to serve for five years at an eligible rural facility.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed healthcare provider
- Must provide care in a rural Nebraska county (excluding Douglas, Lancaster, and Sarpy counties)
- Must commit to a 5-year service agreement at an eligible rural facility
