About this program
Iowa’s Targeted Small Business program supports businesses owned by women, minorities, service-disabled veterans, or individuals with disabilities through certification, technical assistance, and financial assistance opportunities. Eligible Cedar Rapids businesses may use the program to improve access to capital and state procurement opportunities.
Eligibility
Iowa small businesses majority-owned, operated, and actively managed by eligible targeted business owners.
Requirements
- Obtain or pursue Iowa Targeted Small Business certification
- Meet ownership, control, and small business eligibility rules
- Provide business and financial documentation for assistance
