About this program
The Home Rehabilitation Program provides between $1,000 and $24,999 in financial assistance to eligible East Lansing homeowners for necessary repairs, including energy efficiency upgrades, major mechanical replacement, exterior repairs, accessibility modifications, lead or asbestos treatment, and code-related repairs.
Eligibility
Low- to moderate-income homeowners occupying eligible residential properties in East Lansing.
Requirements
- Apply through Capital Area Housing Partnership
- Provide income, ownership, occupancy, property condition, repair, and contractor documentation
- Complete inspections, approved scope of work, and CDBG compliance steps
