Texas HUB Program – Note: Race/Ethnicity Criteria Removed December 2025
IMPORTANT: As of December 2025, Texas removed race, ethnicity, and sex as qualifying criteria from the HUB (Historically Underutilized Business) program, renaming it VetHUB for disabled veteran-owned businesses only. Minority-owned businesses should pursue federal SBA 8(a), NMSDC, and city-level certifications instead.

Eligibility
The Texas HUB/VetHUB program is now limited to disabled veteran-owned businesses. Minority-owned businesses are no longer eligible for HUB certification. Affected businesses should seek SBA 8(a), NMSDC, or city-level MBE certifications.
