About this program
The Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award honors four finalists who are NASCAR fans volunteering for children's charities. Grants to finalist charities total $175,000 annually, with the winner's nonprofit receiving the largest share. Since 2006, The NASCAR Foundation has given more than $50 million in support of racing communities through this award and other programs like the Speediatrics Children's Fund.
Eligibility
501(c)(3) children's charities affiliated with NASCAR fans who volunteer with the organization.
Requirements
- Be a 501(c)(3) children's charity
- Be nominated by a NASCAR fan volunteer
- Provide documentation of charitable work and volunteer involvement
