About this program
The City of Appleton offers Business Enhancement Grants for eligible commercial properties located in Tax Incremental Financing District 12. The program reimburses up to 50% of approved exterior building and site improvement costs, supporting rehabilitation and redevelopment of the West College Avenue corridor and helping commercial properties improve facades, accessibility, parking, roofs, landscaping, and other visible exterior elements.
Eligibility
Property owners and tenants with owner permission may apply for eligible commercial properties located in Appleton TIF District 12.
Requirements
- Property must be located in Appleton Tax Incremental Financing District 12.
- Property must currently be used for commercial purposes or intended for commercial use after the project.
- Applicant must provide a completed application and required attachments to the City staff contact.
