About this program
The Washtenaw County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority supports redevelopment of eligible brownfield properties through project review, brownfield planning, environmental assessment resources, and coordination with state and federal funding tools.
Eligibility
Developers, property owners, local governments, and project sponsors with eligible brownfield redevelopment sites in Washtenaw County, including Ypsilanti.
Requirements
- Coordinate with Washtenaw County brownfield staff early in project planning
- Submit site, redevelopment, environmental, eligible activity, cost, and public benefit information
- Receive required county and local approvals
