Kansas Rehabilitation Services (KRS) Vocational Rehabilitation – Self-Employment Track
Statewide Kansas VR program that supports Kansans with disabilities in achieving self-employment as a vocational goal; eligible consumers and counselors co-develop an Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE) that may include business planning, training, equipment, and financial assistance needed to start or sustain a business.

Eligibility
Kansans with a physical or mental impairment that results in a substantial impediment to employment and who require VR services to achieve their employment goal, including self-employment.
Requirements
- Have a disability resulting in substantial impediment to employment
- Require VR services to achieve employment/self-employment goals
- Apply through the nearest Kansas Department for Children and Families office
