Nevada Vocational Rehabilitation Self-Employment Services
Nevada VR recognizes self-employment as a valid employment outcome and may support eligible clients pursuing business ownership through an Individualized Plan for Employment.

Eligibility
Eligible applicants are Nevada Vocational Rehabilitation clients with disabilities for whom self-employment is an appropriate vocational goal based on skills, interests, informed choice, and an approved employment plan.
Requirements
- Apply for and be determined eligible for Nevada Vocational Rehabilitation services.
- Work with a VR counselor to determine whether self-employment is an appropriate employment goal.
- Develop a feasible business plan, including business license, financial, operational, and income information.
