About this program
The Taxi Improvement Fund Owner Program provides assistance to eligible medallion owners and agents who purchase and operate wheelchair-accessible taxis.
Eligibility
Eligible yellow taxi medallion owners and agents that hack up and operate TLC-approved wheelchair-accessible vehicles.
Requirements
- Applicants must purchase and operate a TLC-approved WAV taxi, meet hack-up and program requirements, and comply with TLC documentation rules.
