About this program
Bellevue uses tax increment financing through its community development authority and redevelopment areas to support eligible redevelopment projects. TIF can help finance public improvements, site preparation, infrastructure, and other eligible costs that make redevelopment feasible and expand the local tax base.
Eligibility
Developers, property owners, businesses, and public partners with projects in eligible Bellevue redevelopment areas.
Requirements
- Project must be in an eligible redevelopment area and align with an approved redevelopment plan
- Submit redevelopment proposal, budget, eligible costs, financing, and public benefit information
- Receive city review, public approvals, redevelopment agreement, and comply with reimbursement terms
