WVEDA Industrial Development Bonds
Provides tax-exempt industrial development bond allocation for qualifying West Virginia projects.
About this program
The West Virginia Economic Development Authority administers the state's allocation process for tax-exempt Industrial Development Bonds. Qualified project sponsors may apply for volume cap allocation for small manufacturing projects and traditional exempt facility projects, enabling customized tax-exempt conduit financing for eligible capital projects.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are project sponsors seeking tax-exempt bond financing for qualifying small manufacturing, exempt facility, Enterprise Community, or other eligible projects in West Virginia.
Requirements
- Project must qualify for tax-exempt industrial development bond financing under federal and state rules.
- Project sponsor must file an application for allocation from the statewide cap with WVEDA.
- Application must include required disclosures and a properly executed inducement resolution.
