Massachusetts Regional Tourism Council (RTC) Grant Program – Sports Events & Tourism
Annual MOTT grant program distributing $8.1M in FY2025 ($7.5M projected FY2027) among Massachusetts's 16 legislatively designated Regional Tourism Councils via a performance-based formula; RTCs use funds to promote tourism including sports events, outdoor recreation, and festivals; sports event organizers access funds by working with their regional RTC; funded from gaming revenue; sports events that drive visitor traffic are primary eligible activities.

Eligibility
Massachusetts nonprofit organizations and public agencies promoting tourism including sports and recreational events; access through the applicable Regional Tourism Council for your area; the 16 RTCs distribute funds to eligible promoters and events in their region.
