About this program
The NY-Sun program, administered by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), provides direct dollar-per-watt incentives to reduce the up-front cost of solar PV installations in New York State. Commercial and industrial projects can receive declining block incentives based on system size and region. The MW Block program has different tiers for upstate, ConEd, and Long Island regions, with adders for affordable housing, public buildings, and projects sited in disadvantaged communities.
