Concord identifies RSA 79-E Community Revitalization Tax Relief as a local incentive for substantial rehabilitation or replacement projects. Eligible projects in downtown or Penacook Village districts, and certain historic properties outside those areas, may receive temporary tax relief on property value increases resulting from improvements.
Eligibility
Property owners with qualifying rehabilitation, replacement, or historic property projects meeting Concord RSA 79-E requirements.
Requirements
- Project must be in an eligible district or involve an eligible historic property
- Meet minimum improvement cost thresholds and public benefit requirements
- Apply to the city and receive approval before finalizing the tax relief agreement
