The City of La Crosse Elevate Downtown Facade Improvement Grant supports eligible exterior improvements to downtown buildings that conform to downtown commercial historic design standards and enhance the appearance and vitality of the downtown district.
Eligibility
Downtown La Crosse commercial property owners or business tenants with eligible facade improvement projects that meet city design and program requirements.
Requirements
- Submit the Elevate Downtown facade grant application to the City of La Crosse
- Provide project description, photos, estimates, design information, property documentation, and owner authorization if applicable
- Receive approval before starting work and complete reimbursement documentation
