Atlanta Beltline Local Developer Incentive Fund
A pilot grant program from Atlanta Beltline, Inc. providing $150,000 to $500,000 to local developers completing commercial development projects along the Beltline corridor that commit to maintaining below-market commercial rents for at least 10 years for small businesses.
About this program
Grants must be repaid if affordability commitments are not maintained. Supported by 2016 bond proceeds for economic development. Total fund is $2 million. Designed to address rising commercial rents along the Beltline that surpass Buckhead and Perimeter rates.
Eligibility
Local developers building or renovating commercial real estate along the Atlanta Beltline corridor. Project must include a commercial affordability commitment to lease a portion of commercial space at below-market rates for at least 10 years. Tenants of the affordable space must meet small business income and employment thresholds.
