District Capitalized coordinates loan and financing access for DC businesses, entrepreneurs, and capital-readiness partners.
About this program
District Capitalized is DSLBD's financing access program for District businesses, resident entrepreneurs, and service providers that help companies prepare for capital. The program coordinates access to term loans operated by partners such as LEDC, Life Asset, and Wacif, supported by DSLBD loan loss reserve resources, and connects businesses to technical assistance for grants, loans, lines of credit, and contracts.
Eligibility
Washington, DC businesses, resident entrepreneurs, and partner organizations seeking financing or capital-readiness assistance through DSLBD and participating lending partners.
Requirements
- Business or entrepreneur must be based in Washington, DC or otherwise eligible under program rules.
- Applicant must work through DSLBD or a participating lending partner.
- Funds must support eligible business creation, operation, or growth needs.
