SEED Loan Fund
Character-based microenterprise loan program for startups and existing businesses in Albany County and the Capital Region.
About this program
The SEED Loan Fund is a character-based loan program developed by Broadview Federal Credit Union with the University at Albany's Small Business Development Center and School of Business. The program provides 10 weeks of entrepreneurial training, business advising, MBA consultant support, and mentorship, after which participants may pitch for a character-based loan of up to $35,000. The program serves startups and existing small businesses in Albany County and other eligible Capital Region and Western New York counties.
Eligibility
Startups and existing entrepreneurs or small business owners located in Albany County or another eligible service-area county, subject to business concept, viability, character-based selection, training participation, and industry restrictions.
