About this program
The Lafayette Redevelopment Commission is responsible for rehabilitation and development of land and property within the city using Tax Increment Financing for projects in the best social and economic interest of Lafayette and its residents.
Eligibility
Eligible redevelopment, infrastructure, land reuse, and public-private projects within Lafayette redevelopment or economic development areas.
Requirements
- Coordinate with the Redevelopment Commission before project commitments
- Provide project scope, district location, budget, financing gap, public benefit, and development timeline
- Receive commission approval and execute required agreements
