Fargo’s economic incentives policy includes property tax exemptions for new or expanding industries. Eligible business projects are reviewed locally and may receive exemptions or other incentives that support job creation, expansion, and capital investment.
Eligibility
Existing businesses expanding in Fargo or new businesses locating in the community and creating jobs or investment.
Requirements
- Demonstrate new or expanding business activity and job creation or economic benefit
- Submit incentive application and project information before final approval or construction where required
- Receive review by the Economic Development Incentives Committee and Fargo City Commission
