The Naugatuck Facade Improvement Program helps eligible property owners and businesses improve the exterior appearance of commercial and mixed-use buildings through storefront, signage, lighting, masonry, awning, window, door, and related improvements that strengthen business districts.
Eligibility
Eligible commercial property owners and business tenants with owner permission in qualifying Naugatuck commercial areas.
Requirements
- Apply before beginning facade work
- Submit property information, project scope, design materials, contractor estimates, permits if required, and proof of completed work
- Comply with local design and reimbursement requirements
