State food-purchase program connecting New York producers with emergency food providers.
About this program
Nourish New York routes state support through food banks and emergency food providers so they can purchase surplus products from New York farmers and food producers and distribute food to communities in need.
Eligibility
Food banks and emergency food providers participate directly; New York farmers and food producers may sell eligible products through participating channels.
Requirements
- Participating organizations must follow program purchasing and reporting rules; producers must be able to sell eligible New York food products to participating buyers.
