Kentucky Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) – Self-Employment Track
Kentucky VR program supporting Kansans with disabilities in achieving self-employment as a vocational goal; when open, a VR counselor and consumer develop an Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE) that may include business planning, training, equipment, and other resources. NOTE: As of May 14, 2025, KYOVR implemented an Order of Selection (OOS) and closed all priority categories; check current status before applying.

Eligibility
Kentuckians with a physical or mental disability that results in a substantial impediment to employment and who require VR services; self-employment is an eligible vocational goal when appropriate. Program is subject to Order of Selection — verify current availability before applying.
