About this program
The Sewer Lateral Grant Program reimburses eligible Richmond property owners for full private sewer lateral replacement work completed within the fiscal year and located in the Richmond Municipal Sewer District service area.
Eligibility
Property owners in the City of Richmond Municipal Sewer District who complete full sewer lateral replacement and have not previously received a lifetime grant award.
Requirements
- Replacement must be completed before applying and within the eligible fiscal year
- Submit application, final paid invoice, proof of payment, certificate of lateral compliance, and ownership documentation
- Applications are first come, first served until funds are exhausted
