Louisiana's state certification for veteran-owned and service-connected disabled veteran-owned small businesses; enables access to state purchasing and contracting opportunities; state agencies are encouraged to use certified firms and can waive additional quote requirements for purchases under $15,000; RFP bids receive up to 12% additional evaluation points; 620 certified businesses generated $25.8M in state expenditures in FY2023; LED processes applications within two business days.

Eligibility
Louisiana-based small businesses at least 51% owned by a veteran; principal place of business in Louisiana; fewer than 50 full-time employees; average annual gross receipts not exceeding $6 million (non-construction) or $10 million (construction); independently owned and operated.
