About this program
The MyCAA Scholarship provides education and training funds for eligible military spouses pursuing approved portable career credentials, including skilled trades, HVAC, electrical, construction-related technical training, and similar certification pathways when approved. Deadline notes: Applications are generally accepted through the MyCAA portal before covered coursework or exams begin. Notes: Include only when the spouse's approved education plan is tied to a construction or skilled trades credential.
Eligibility
Eligible spouses of active-duty service members in qualifying pay grades, including qualifying spouses of National Guard and reserve members on eligible Title 10 orders.
Requirements
- Create a MyCAA account, verify eligibility, develop an approved education and training plan, select an approved school or credential, and receive approval before starting covered coursework or exams.
