About this program
USDA Rural Energy for America Program provides grants and guaranteed loans to agricultural producers and rural small businesses for renewable energy systems and energy efficiency improvements in eligible rural Nevada areas.
Eligibility
Nevada agricultural producers and rural small businesses meeting USDA REAP eligibility, including eligible Carson City-area projects when rural location rules are met.
Requirements
- Apply through USDA Rural Development Nevada
- Submit energy audit or assessment, project budget, technical reports, and financial documentation
- Meet rural eligibility, environmental, procurement, and matching fund requirements
