Eligibility
Eligible applicants include qualifying small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals and certain entity-owned firms, including firms owned by Indian tribes, Alaska Native corporations, Native Hawaiian organizations, and community development corporations.
Requirements
- Operate as a small business under the relevant SBA size standard.
- Meet SBA 8(a) ownership, control, character, potential-for-success, and disadvantage requirements.
- Submit the 8(a) application through SBA certification systems.
