About this program
The Kalamazoo County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority supports eligible brownfield properties through Brownfield Plans that capture tax increment revenue for up to 30 years to reimburse eligible environmental and non-environmental activities.
Eligibility
Developers, property owners, and local units with eligible brownfield properties in Kalamazoo County, including participating municipalities.
Requirements
- Coordinate with KCBRA before incurring eligible costs
- Submit Brownfield Plan materials, eligible cost documentation, redevelopment plan, and local support
- Receive required county and local approvals
