South Carolina's Family Caregiver Support Program funds and coordinates caregiver support, respite, counseling, and supplemental services, including help for seniors age 55 and older raising children.

Eligibility
Eligible participants include family caregivers of older adults and seniors age 55 and older who are caring for a child whose parents cannot provide care, subject to Area Agency on Aging and program requirements.
Requirements
- Participant must be an eligible caregiver or senior caregiver under program rules.
- Contact the local Area Agency on Aging or South Carolina Department on Aging for service availability.
- Complete any intake, needs assessment, and documentation required for caregiver support services.
