About this program
The City of Racine Commercial Corridor Facade Grant Program helps businesses and property owners improve storefronts and commercial building exteriors in targeted corridors. Eligible projects can include facade restoration, signage, lighting, windows, doors, awnings, exterior repair, and other visible improvements that strengthen neighborhood business districts and improve commercial property conditions.
Eligibility
Commercial property owners and business tenants with owner authorization in eligible Racine commercial corridors may apply for approved facade improvement projects.
Requirements
- Property must be located in an eligible Racine commercial corridor or program area.
- Project must involve eligible exterior facade or storefront improvements.
- Applicant must receive approval before beginning reimbursable work.
