About this program
The Clean Heavy-Duty Vehicles Program funds replacement of eligible heavy-duty vehicles with zero-emission vehicles, plus charging or fueling infrastructure and workforce development.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants include states, municipalities, tribes, nonprofit school transportation associations, and eligible contractors.
Requirements
- Apply during EPA funding competition
- Replace eligible Class 6 or 7 heavy-duty vehicles
- Meet infrastructure, workforce, and reporting requirements
