About this program
The Oklahoma Tourism Development Act supports investment in new or expanded tourism destinations such as entertainment districts, hotels, arenas, museums, theme parks, and cultural centers through sales tax credits or sales tax incentive payments over a ten-year period.
Eligibility
Eligible tourism attraction developers and project sponsors meeting minimum investment, tourism, and statutory requirements.
Requirements
- Apply through Oklahoma Commerce before project commitments
- Submit project plan, investment, tourism impact, financing, and economic benefit information
- Meet approval, investment, reporting, and compliance requirements
