About this program

Startup 405 Center for Business Excellence is a Cleveland County Economic Development Coalition initiative in downtown Norman designed to expand the county's entrepreneurial ecosystem. The center includes a state-certified business incubator, coworking space, education and event space, advisory services, an accelerator fund, and venture capital connections through the broader coalition and Boyd Street Ventures partnership. The program is intended to help entrepreneurs turn innovative ideas into viable businesses and support long-term job growth in Cleveland County.

Eligibility

Entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses in Norman and Cleveland County may seek Startup 405 support when they are building or scaling a business that fits incubator, advisory, accelerator, or venture funding criteria.

Requirements

  • Business or founder must be connected to Norman or Cleveland County's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
  • Applicant must engage Startup 405 or the Cleveland County Economic Development Coalition for incubator, advisory, or funding consideration.
  • Startup must provide business concept, traction, market, team, financing need, and growth information as requested.
