About this program
The Independence CDBG Advisory Committee reviews public service funding applications and recommends CDBG allocations to the City Council for eligible services that support housing and community development needs in the city.
Eligibility
Eligible nonprofit and public service organizations serving low- and moderate-income Independence residents under HUD CDBG rules.
Requirements

- Document eligible services, budget, beneficiaries, performance measures, and organizational capacity
