About this program
Black Cultural Zone supports East Oakland’s Black arts, culture, commerce, and community development ecosystem through events, marketplace opportunities, business support, cultural activation, and partner-led funding or technical assistance.
Eligibility
Black-owned businesses, artists, cultural workers, nonprofits, and community partners operating in or serving East Oakland and aligned with Black Cultural Zone initiatives.
Requirements
- Engage with Black Cultural Zone programs, marketplace, or partner opportunities
- Provide business, artist, or organization profile and community benefit information
- Meet program-specific participation, vendor, grant, or reporting requirements
