About this program
The Local Food Promotion Program funds planning and implementation projects for local and regional food business enterprises that aggregate, process, distribute, or store locally or regionally produced food. Deadline notes: Annual deadlines are announced by USDA AMS. Notes: Strong fit for food hubs, aggregation, processing, and regional food system infrastructure.
Eligibility
Eligible agricultural businesses, producer networks, nonprofits, local governments, tribal governments, and regional food system enterprises, including eligible New Jersey applicants.
Requirements
- Submit Grants.gov application with project narrative, local food enterprise plan, budget, producer impact, matching funds if required, and required federal forms.
